Lisa A. Kaufman, RPT
Practice Owner
Lisa A. Kaufman, RPT, completed her studies and received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston, MA. After graduation, she trained at The Rusk Institute of NYU Medical Center for four years. She continued her career at the hospital for Joint Diseases in their Pediatric Department for two years. Here, she developed a background in orthotic management for patients through participation in orthopedic clinics. Lisa then was offered a wonderful opportunity to become the managing director of PT at a private preschool on the Lower East Side. In this role, she managed staff, evaluated and screened cases, and treated children with various physical challenges.
Lisa opened her own private pediatric practice in 2007. In 2017 she expanded her practice and welcomed other exceptional therapists and support staff who share her goals and mission. She believes that every child has the potential to be confident and successful in this world, regardless of their physical challenges. When they are matched with the correct physical therapist, their capabilities are unlimited.

Adrienne Abramowitz, PT, DPT
Adrienne Abramowitz earned her Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy at Northeastern University and completed her doctoral work at SUNY Stony Brook. She has had the distinct honor of working in the pediatric field for over 18 years. She's treated children from birth through the teenage years with various orthopedic, genetic, and neurological disorders. She has held both managerial and supervisory roles. Additionally, she is a certified yoga instructor, and she incorporates that knowledge into PT. Adrienne began at Play and Grow in the fall of 2018.
She approaches each child and family with joy and respect, assisting them with play and individual exercises to ensure maximum outcomes. Adrienne has an intuitive and creative nature that meets each child where they are at. This optimizes their potential for success.

Karen Miller, MSPT, C/NDT, CLC
Karen Miller is a New York State-licensed physical therapist. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in Clinical Science and a Master's in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College in 2004. Karen started working in pediatrics at the Carmel branch of the John A. Coleman School. She gained experience working with medically fragile children, aged birth to 23, with multi-system impairments in a multi-disciplinary setting. Karen join our team at Play & Grow PT in the Fall of 2020.
Karen has worked with children in the homecare setting through early intervention and preschool education before working full-time in the outpatient pediatric setting. Karen has extensive experience working with children who have torticollis, cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, vision impairments, Down Syndrome, prematurity, Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, spinal muscle atrophy, toe-walking, spinal cord injury, cancer, general developmental delay, and more. Karen has completed her Certification in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (C/NDT) with a specialization in Pediatrics, and just completed the NDT Advanced Baby Certification.
Tina Drescher, PT, PCES
Tina is a graduate of Boston University-Sargent College of Allied Health Professions, and completed a Fellowship in Neurodevelopmental Disorders/NIH at New York Medical College. She is a certified PCES (Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist). She is a Pelvic Rehabilitation Provider through the Academy of Women’s Health/American Physical Therapy Association, and has further credentials in Pediatric Bowel and Bladder Disorders, Graston Technique, TMJ rehabilitation, ergonomics and musculoskeletal injuries.
She loves being a physical therapist because it has allowed her to discover creative solutions to large and small issues affecting one’s quality of life. She receives the greatest satisfaction when helping others lead active lives without having pain, or mobility issues impacting their lives.She is proud to be part of a small number of physical therapists in the US who treat the pelvic floor, and an even smaller handful that specialize in treatment of the pediatric pelvic floor.
Irena Gazda, PT, DPT
Irena Gazda has over ten years of experience working with a range of patients from infants to adults. She earned her Doctoral of Physical Therapy from Mercy College and completed her clinical work at John A. Coleman School in White Plains NY. During that time she treated pediatric patients with different medical conditions as well as developmental delays.
Irena believes in performing at the highest level of patient care and is therefore sensitive to the patient’s needs, whether its just physical emotional or both. During her sessions, she strategizes therapeutic techniques to optimize the whole patient. Irena finds joy in designing creative play activities for pediatric patients. She joined our team at Play & Grow PT in the Spring of 2024.

Marko Grzan, PT, DPT
Marko Grzan earned his undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was also a member of the varsity football team. He received his doctorate of Physical Therapy from Hunter college in NYC in 2018.
Marko has an extensive background in multiple fields of Physical Therapy, including Pediatrics/Orthopedics/Neurological therapy practiced in both the Outpatient and Hospital setting. Marko's Pediatric background spans from infants to early adolescents with multiple diagnoses ranging from Torticollis/Gross Motor Delays to Sports related injuries. His ability to engage and motivate children is exceptional, and so are his results.
Marko has been practicing at Play & Grow PT for the past 2 years. He has been instrumental in our sucess as we transitioned to our new facility this past year. He has helped to establish and maintain excellence that the practice has become known for. He is a native of Westchester and currently resides in Ossining with his wife and 2 children.

Meagan Lesniak, PT, DPT, C/NDT
Meagan Lesniak is a New York State Licensed Physical Therapist. She earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Medical College in 2018. Prior to Physical Therapy school she received her Bachelor of Arts in Health Sciences at Gettysburg College.
Meagan was a competitive distance runner for over 10 years which drove her interest in using movement and exercise to improve one’s mobility and health. While in graduate school, she traveled to Les Cayes, Haiti where she volunteered at a clinic and provided physical therapy services to both pediatric and adult patients with neurologic and orthopedic conditions. It was during her time in Haiti that she realized her passion for working with kids in order to help them reach their full potential.
Meagan has diverse clinical experience treating patients in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient pediatrics, orthopedics and acute care. She has worked with various diagnoses such as torticollis, toe walking, hypotonia, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, prematurity, a variety of genetic disorders and general developmental delays. Meagan has completed her Certification in Neurodevelopmental Treatment (C/NDT) with a specialization in Pediatrics. She joined our team at Play & Grow in 2025.
